Software distributed using eAcademy program may not always contain the most current security updates. Please take a minute and download additional files for software listed below
Dr. Malinowski has a Web page that answers these and some other questions.
This software distribution is a ECE Department paid service to EE students and we have no additional paid technical support for it. In case of technical questions, download and installation questions and problems please contact any ECE department student working at the Technology Help Desk in the Library. Please note, that you will be asking your EE colleague for a favor. This is not a part of their job responsibilities.
If you are enrolled in EE102 or EE221, or are a student in the EE or ECE program currently registered for at least one course in the ECE department and your membership is not active please contact Dr. Aleksander Malinowski in Jobst Hall, Room 328.
In case of questions related to installing the software on your computer please contact any ECE student working at the Technology Help Desk. In case of questions related to our computer labs please contact our Lab Director Mr. Mattus.
In case of questions related to purpose of life please follow this link, or this link. Anyway, the answer is and always has been 42.
A question was asked about the access during breaks, recesses and summer semesters. Students who have an active account and are enrolled for at least one ECE course for the next semester as of the last day of the semester that precedes the break will have their account active until the last day of the break. New users will be added or reinstated after the break ends. Taking a semester off from studying does not quailify.
Another question is was asked (mainly by graduate students) about courses that are scheduled outside of the regular semesters, or extended beyond one semester (in progress). In such circumstances, please ask your instructor to send by email a memo to Dr. Malinowski stating the course number, the in progress status, and the expected date of completion. A new memo will be necessary at the beginning of each semester of continuation. The memo will be kept on record so that eligibility of all users can be provided in an unlikely case that Microsoft would ever ask about it. Please note that the Graduate School recently redefind the meaning of IN and IP grades. Some students with courses in progress and otherwise not registered for the current semester may not qualify for the MSDNAA program.
