The new laboratory opened in early Fall 2007 and supports students of Dr. Malinowski's four elective courses:

- EE-CES: C for Embedded Systems
- EE-OOD: Object Oriented Design for Embedded Systems (also known as Dr. Schertz's OOP'S)
- EE-WBC: Web Based Control for Embedded Systems

All 8-bit Silicon Labs 8051 Family Systems
Important: Please use SiLabs IDE v. 2.70 that is provided in the lab
with our boards. Demo Keil provided with it allows for 4KB of compiled
code. Later versions allows only for 2KB and that is not enough for some
TCP/IP applications and homework. See also contents of
